Wonderful video! You use the same lines like Wayne D. great to see another keen eye out there. Thanks again 🙂
I agree ..the grip is something that many advanced players can improve upon .Pros or really good amateurs are often shocked when i make adjustments with there grips .When they understand the cause and effect espeically when related to the the lag in there swing and other chain reactions as a result of the grip they are then happy to make adjustments.I would go as high to say 80-90% of amateurs grip incorrectly .
I totally agree about the body lowering. I don’t think it’s possible to be a very good player without leveraging into the ground. Hell I do this even more as I get older(I am 59) and I have improved greatly in the last few months. The other thing I have been working hard on is the grip, which I believe 75% of amateurs and even some pros don’t spend enough time on it or get very lazy about it. A really good grip can make up for some swing flaws!!
Hi Andrew i guess the point i am making is that i have seen good young players take this move out of there swings from the advice of certain trainers and have played worse after it . At the moment i am teaching a German girl who is the national champion for her age group that lowers like these champions in some of my videos ….i have never taught her that but i sure as hell wont be taking it out of her swing .I dont teach club golfers to lower as its a long term thing and more for the afvanced
