In Mr McMahan’s case, if you were to stick with one ball be it a kmart rock or name brand premo, atleast you have control of a part of your game that cant be different every shot, and you’ll know that what ever shot you hit your ball is going to react as you need, subject to skill level. I use the Srixon soft feel that cost’s me $15 bucks a doz, and i know what to expect from that ball, but its what ever works for your game, thats the beauty of golf
@Jack McMahan. Ya ur right I think for me my ball comes after everything else
I just play whatever ball is in the bag. I’m more focused on my swing technique than what ball I’m using. In the overall picture, your ball is not the deciding factor… your technique is. That’s my opinion anyway. But, the Penta does look like a cool golf ball because of the technology put into it.
What a bunch of pompous assholes!! Very few amateurs have a short game that can take advantage of what a premium ball has to offer around the greens! We all just want to hit the ball farther with our drivers! It doesn’t matter to us or anyone else if you guys approve!!!!!
yeah i wish i was a pro that could get crapload of FREE golf balls to practice with. spending 50 bucks to find out its not the ball for me sounds like a waste. i played the old pentas and usually proV1x was more to my liking but i got a free dozen old pentas from last years deal. But im sure by time you like the new pentas and get used to that in true Taylormade fashion they will have a new and improved ball that is better
but if the ball that goes 17 yards longer doesnt fit ur short game then it will hurt your score way more than being 17 yards shorter
Maybe this golf ball does 17 yards less so they need the 17 yard slogan with the driver to hit it the same distance?
its not like taylormade pros have much choice its like here’s the penta. If you don’t use it you have to use some cheap 2 piece rock
Isn’t that contradicting the whole 17 yards rbz extra thing? It might be 17 yards short?
Haha YA FIRED!
I both agree ånd disagree. Sure its important to have feel around the green, but it is also important to compress the ball too 😉 So I think you should choose ball of personal preferences 🙂
This is more like it Taylormade-good advice!
