At the top of the backswing, Dustin has swung the club shaft past parallel to the ground, making too long of a backswing. This makes it harder to control the club on the downswing and consistently deliver a square clubface at impact, producing straight shots.–GS.
So not a lateral rotation of the scapula away from the midline of the spine?
its even crazier in slow motion
looks are nothing
one thing ive learned while being a golf fan is that theres no such thing as a “better looking swing”. There are better looking shots but certainly no swing is better…only different. if every had the same robotic swing, i wouldnt even watch golf. Hell, if someone told me i HAD to swing “this way, or that way” id tell em to screw themselves.
but its his signature. thats his style, its what distinguishes his swing from others
Look at how flexible he is in his lead (left) rear delt at the top of his backswing?
Very powerfull swing….. beauty…
it would be a much better looking swing if he finished more upright
that was a badass swing!!
look at the torque at second 22
All the ingredients for length. He should win today…doesn’t need to hit driver!
